The Amundsen Name

Roald Amundsen, a Norwegian explorer who led the first successful expedition to the South Pole, was able to do so by trying new approaches and being willing to break a few generally accepted principles of polar exploration. His team reached the South Pole almost a month ahead of a competing British expedition, despite the fact that he had one tenth the resources.
