Experienced SQL Developer / Database Administrator (DBA)

Amundsen is seeking a talented SQL Developer / Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team and take our rapidly expanding SQL infrastructure to the next level. Responsibilities

• Optimize and fine tune large databases (30+ terabytes of data) with Microsoft SQL 08
• Optimize existing SQL code and develop new queries
• Evaluate architecture and performance, and prepare for MS SQL 2012 migration
• 70% Development vs. 30% Database Administration

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of experience with SQL Server 2005/2008
• Previously demonstrated skill in: T-SQL, SQL Tables, Triggers, Stored Procedures, Query Optimization and Tuning
• Knowledge of BI tools
• Familiarity with supporting server hardware and Windows operating system a plus
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
